In the merchandising and apparel industry, Gildan is a household name. While the company's name may be mainstream, its positive impact on sustainability is more of an "IYKYK" situation than a commonly known fact. To flip the narrative, my team and I developed their campaign, Made With Respect.
Visually, we used projection and full bleed imagery to highlight the five pillars of focus: circularity, environment, people, communities, and transparency. In my work, I was responsible for creating wordmarks and their rules, designing social and display ads, product packaging, and providing general art direction.

Display ads and social posts may have dominated the campaign's online presence by sheer volume, but creating a strong anthem video was just as integral.

Since the main focus of the campaign was to highlight Gildan's ESG program, including iconography in the new lockup would take away from the key message. To ensure there's no confusion, we strictly worked with a wordmark that put all the emphasis on "Made With Respect."
Being used across all Gildan brands, and including taglines, it was vital to create a lockup that would allow for plug-and-play ability.
