MIDPEN REGIONAL OPEN SPACE

In honor of its 50th anniversary, Midpeninsula Regional Open Space (Midpen), a district for preserving natural land and open space, had a lot on its plate in 2022. To help the Bay Area organization reach its goals for its semicentennial year, I created several assets, including a series of display ads and a guide for visitors to recognize the various flora and fauna across the district.

TOOLS USED Adobe Suite (Ae, Ai, Indd, Ps), Canva

The Flora and Fauna Guide built out, selected, and currently used by Midpen best fits the organization's tone, visual style, and audience. However, there was a second guide option designed. To the right, you may find the alternate cover proposed. If interested, please reach out to view an extended version of the guide, including information sections.

With 26 total preserves, there is a lot to see across the district. Even for experts, the range of different plants and species can be overwhelming. Don't fear, Midpen (and Marc!) is here. This extensive guide highlights park rangers' favorite flora, fauna, and places of interest to look out for when visiting the district. When by the Bay, hit me up for the guide to ensure you spot all those cooky critters.
